The colour is a very opulent and rich brown/grey and the difference in the thickness of the strands highlights the stripes and catches the light perfectly. It has a pearlized backing colour that really shows off the texture of the wallpaper. This wallpaper and the others in this particular range are almost like finely woven rolls of material rather than wallpaper and need to be seen to be fully appreciated.
