Verner Panton’s amazing flowerpot lights were designed way back in 1968 and very much reflected the ‘flower power’ times of the late 60s. They were however, a design way beyond its day back then. Panton found designing fun. And it’s as if he never saw the limitations of the material. His inspired, imaginative designs made him unique and put him among the very best designers of the “Danish golden age”. Verner Panton was popular in his day, but maybe even more so today, with many of his designs falling into the retro category
