The base is a highly polished stainless steel rod. The frame and upholstery is foam over a moulded, reinforced fibreglass shell on chair, and foam cushion over moulded plywood platform on Ottoman. Separate seat, back, and Ottoman cushions are constructed of polyester fibre with foam core and all covered in a gorgeously soft cashmere fabric!
